Are you lucky? Interesting psychological research.

Are you lucky? Check this out – Interesting psychological research. Read on..
By studying the behaviour and attitude of ‘lucky’ people, psychologist Richard Wiseman found ‘luck’ actually has a clear set of behaviours associated with it:
Here are the 4 things he found about ‘lucky people’:
1. Lucky people notice, create and act upon opportunities. It’s the combination of having a relaxed but inquisitive attitude to life, and being open to new experiences.
2. Lucky people are in touch with their intuition. They don’t ignore gut feelings, and they take time to meditate or use other ways of clearing their minds of unnecessary thoughts.
3. Lucky people expect good fortune. They have a positive attitude, and persist in the face of failure. My point of view is that these so called ‘failures’ are simply our experiences.
4. Lucky people turn bad luck into good luck. Even when something ‘bad’ happens, lucky people are grateful it wasn’t worse and use the situation as a learning experience instead of something to dwell negatively on.
So…back to the question. Are you Lucky? I’d love to know your point of view. And…go ahead and share it with your ‘LUCKY’ friends.

Mindset is weird… Can Hypnosis help?

Posted on May 19, 2015 by Jackie

Mindset is weird..
To change it, you need outside influences.
Have you ever tried to kick a habit without help?
(Not easy right?)

Now imagine how hard it would be to change something even more ingrained in your brain than a habit…

Something like a core value or a belief.

Those are strong, deep rooted parts of who you are.

And yet they dictate your results.

Left to your own devices, your mind will continue to come to the same conclusions as it always has…

You’ll do the same things over and over, without ever advancing toward your goals…

But then sometimes, you meet someone with a different perspective…

You see things through a new lens…

And it shifts the way you see the world. Heck, sometimes a mindset shift like that changes the way you see the entire universe.

But you can’t manufacture that kind of change on your own.  You have to seek it out.

Are you seeking a more abundant mindset?

If you are, then hypnosis is one of the quickest ways to make a dramatic shift in the direction of true prosperity.

If you’re happy with your mindset then I’d challenge you to get outside of your comfort zone and see how much further you can push yourself.

Unless you honestly believe that life right now is as good as it is ever going to get.

In which case, I urge you to stop reading this right now and just enjoy it.

One never knows how long highs like that will last.

To Your Absolute Awesomeness,

Does Law of Attraction work for romantic relationship?

Posted on March 13, 2015 by Jackie

Two of my current clients are struggling with their romantic relationships. Both women have left and both of my male clients are struggling to understand why! I saw this and thought of them and also thinking of the millions of people who go through so much pain in their relationships, romantic or otherwise.
The Thoughts I Think Determine the Relationship I Attract… You are the thinking, Vibrating attractor of your experience; and the thoughts you think determine everything about the life that you live. As you turn your attention toward the positive aspects of the personalities and behaviors of others with whom you share your planet, you will train your point of attraction in the direction of only what you desire. Not only does the power of your thought determine which people make their way into your life, but the power of your thought determines how they behave once they get there.

Is your teen safe with E Cigarettes?

Posted on November 1, 2014 by Jackie

The American Lung Association states that adolescents (12-17 years old) who reported having smoked in the past thirty days were three times as likely to use alcohol, eight times as likely to smoke marijuana, and twenty-two times as likely to use cocaine, within that time period than adolescents who have not smoked tobacco in the past thirty days.

E Cigarette are classified as a “gateway” drug and therefore adolescent smokers are more likely to begin drinking alcohol and using illicit drug than non-smoking adolescents. While smoking tobacco the smoker will feel a “high” such as a tingly feeling, feeling light headed, and/or feeling more relaxed. This “high” does not last for long and as the smoker becomes addicted they are smoking so much that they do not feel any pleasure in smoking.

Now we know why E Cigarettes leads to the adolescent drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, using cocaine, and other illicit drugs.

Is There a Reason the Legal Smoking Age is 18?

Posted on October 21, 2014 by Jackie

Yes. An adolescent’s body and lungs are not fully developed until he/she turns 18 (some adolescents still are not fully developed until after they turn 18). Therefore if an adolescent begins smoking before their 18th birthday there is a high risk that their lungs will never fully develop and smoking may stunt the growth of the rest of their body. Also adolescent smokers are at a much greater risk to develop heart disease and lung cancer than smokers who begin smoking as adults

According to The American Lung Association one-third of all smokers had their first cigarette before the age of fourteen and this calls for great concern.
